Postop tibialnailing with delayed Union
Got fracture tibia+fibula left knee in RTA 4 mnths back operated by tibial nailing. Recent x-ray shows delayed union. Now suggested for screw change.should I go for that or wait and undergo for grafting.

Yes, removal of static screw will dynamise the nail which will enhance fracture healing 4 months is short time for some Pts to show callus in x rays
