Ct scan of tibia fibula
Iam kunal 18 years of age i had a accident in which i broked up my tibia fibula and had surgery . It's almost 140 days now iam sharing my latest ct scan . Please examine it and tell me about my recovery. I had a open compound fracture with severe blood loss.

I would like to examine you clinically. Fracture seems to have united. You can start partial weight bearing & knee bending exercises. Gradual return to usual activities is the dictum.

Can u walk with full weight bearing at present? Any discharge from open wound site? Have u been operated upon at that time?

CT scan at 140 days would have been done to look for fracture union.. Though the images aren't very clear, looks like your fracture was a comminuted..Tibia being a superficial bone would take time to unite even if everything goes well.. Keep following up with your surgeon, he will definitely have plans for your betterment.
