Hi,
my sister was an MDR TB patient
it's been an year after treatment
she is still coughing blood in very small amount in the morning everyday.. around 1 to 2 ml
or sometimes she cough pink sputam instead.
she has no symptoms of fever or body pain
she is thin..
I consulted at National Institutes of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Desease mahrauli Delhi
They said, it will happen because there is cavity in lungs.. and it is normal.
if the amount of blood was large, they can do operation but it is not required.
one more thing.. she has pain sometimes in the vains at the left side of neck below ears. seems those veins are connected to lungs cavity area
is there anyway, we can start medicine to cure these cavity permanently.
please, I'm very worried about her
