Tb treatment
Hello doctor I am age 27 years. Presently I am under the Tb treatment from last 2 months. Initially I have lymph nodes in my neck. My physician done test and said me it is Koch's.then they start medicine AKt 4 .the tablets give me reactions like skin rash, headache. I admitted in hospital nearly 15 days. Then they started medication COMBUNEX 800, CLARIBID 250 along with Ambistryn-s injunction. My treatment was starting before 45 days back.60 injunction are enough??

Hi.. Skin reaction could be due to any of the 4 medicines in akt 4.. we should try using rifampicin and pyrazinamide again one by one and then better continue one of them or both if tolerated... These are much better medicines for TB and we should not just stop them.. There is no or minimal use of Claribid..
Next Steps
add tab. rifampicin 1st for a week and if there is no skin reaction then continue the medicine and then add pyrazinamide and watch for reaction..
