Post injection inflammation - 3 months
My wife got a Paracetamol injection 3 months back from a local RMP when suffering from high fever. (Since that was a Sunday and no doctors in town were available, we had to resort to RMP as only choice). Since then, she was feeling slight pain (like pricking) and light swelling under the skin (swelling is not visible. But can feel when touched). We contacted the same person and he suggested ice packs and he told that gradually goes off. Since few days, skin at that spot has become numb from outside and feeling like pricking from inside frequently (not painful). When touched it's bit painful like pricking. No swelling observed now. No other complications. Any remedy suggested will be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

You said that you can feel the swelling but it is not visible. For confirmation you may get Sonography of the area done. Sonography will also tell if some abscess is forming.
