This pain is only due to nerve compression by the diac bulge and you should consult a physiotherapist, he will apply some modalities to relieve the pain  and some stretching exercises. You will get the relief for sure.. Then the exercises are very important. Take some vitamin B+ E supplements.

Greetings, sorry about your pain.  I will address your concerns in two aspects A.  If you have varicose veins you will have pain as ypu described.  rule this out first.  If positive go with advice of physician. B.  If the problem you described is as you said in your description, then not to worry. It is just a muscle spasm (trigger point)
Next Steps
get a very good massage to calf, lower limb, all over the body by a physio or any ayurveda masseur.  you should be about 50% better in first session.  do get couple of session to relax your muscles.
Health Tips
not a medical problem to be worried. after your massage sessions do let me know how you are doing.,will update on exercises and stretching to make sure it never reoccurs. reach me at time to clarify your doubts

In my opinion you must go for a new technique for these kind of muscle twitches known as dry needling technique that will be done by a needle inserted intramuscularly and have instant results followed by col fermentation and Ultrasound therapy...this will help you definetly... take care...get well soon...
Next Steps
Find a physiotherapist who will be an expert in this technique as not much Physio's practice it..
Health Tips
Start drinking water and fluids as much as you can... it will help you a lot

This is not myositis . Muscular pain.. twitchings.. and persistent symptoms may be due to various reasons...only a clinical examination and detailed history taking is going to cone down to a diagnosis... managing it without diagnoais is not recommended .. Meet ur specialist . Meanwhile.. walking.. stretchs...ice packs .. tab paracetamol twice a day ...if no allergy ..may help
