U might have experienced pain over right lower side of abdomen some days ago. Now that condition which was acute at that time has resolved and now u have subacute/chronic Appendicitis in such cases there is a formation of lump over appendix which has to be treated conservatively on antibiotics and some medications . U can go for appendicectomy by consulting any nearby surgeon but as such now u have to just take medicines and consult surgeon to plan ur appendicectomy. No need to worry now .
Next Steps
avoid heavy intake of food take plenty of fluids

As per the report that you have posted it indicates that the person is having appendicitis subacute. But that's just the report Is the patient having any symptoms such as vomiting fever pain in the abdomen And the patient should be examined personally to rule out appendicitis
Next Steps

Hello Saransh, From the USG report it looks like you might be having an appendicitis. It is causing some irritation on your intestine as well. As suggested by the sonologist a CECT abdomen is necessary. But before that you need to be started on antibiotics. If appendicitis is confirmed you may need to undergo surgery. But depending upon the report it will be either immediately or wait for the infection to settle before surgery. This will be decided by a surgeon after looking at your reports. Please consult a general surgeon at the earliest.
Next Steps
CECT abdomen with IV contrast CBC with DC, ESR Consult a general Surgeon physically.

Hello Saransh, Thank you for sharing your ultrasound report. I have reviewed the findings carefully. Your liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, urinary bladder, and prostate all appear normal in size, shape, and texture, with no evidence of any mass lesions or dilatation, which is reassuring. However, the report notes a tubular blind-ended aperistaltic partially non-compressible dilated bowel loop in the right iliac fossa with minimal surrounding inflammation and a small amount of free fluid. This finding suggests the possibility of sub-acute or chronic appendicitis. Given your symptoms of stomach pain and this ultrasound finding, it is important to follow up with your treating doctor for further evaluation. Your doctor may advise additional imaging like a contrast-enhanced CT (CECT) abdomen, as suggested in the report, to confirm the diagnosis and plan appropriate management. Please do not be alarmed, but it is essential to address this condition promptly to avoid complications. Also, you mentioned the bladder was empty during the scan, which is standard protocol for abdominal ultrasound and should not affect the accuracy of the findings. If you experience increasing pain, fever, vomiting, or any new symptoms, seek medical attention immediately. Feel free to reach out if you need further clarification or to discuss next steps. Wishing you good health, Dr. Romain Rajan
