As ab phylline is a bronchodilator (dilates your airways) while Propranolol, being a non-selective beta-blocker, can cause bronchoconstriction (narrows the airways). It's not advisable to take Ab Phylline SR 200 (Theophylline) for breathlessness if you've a weak heart and are on Propranolol unless a doctor specifically prescribes it and closely monitors you.
