Platelets count in lower side always
Hi, I am noticing that my platelets count is always on the lower side(less than 100000) from past 2 years.I am 28 weeks pregnant now and it has come down to 90000 per microlitre of blood. How can I increase it?

Forget it. As the time for delivery comes your Gynecologist will manage as per the conditions.

Don't take stress. Along with platelets we look for other parameters as well. It's better if you connect through video consultation or discuss with your obstetrician

It's gestational thrombocytopenia. Have your pregnancy booked where facility of blood bank is available and platelets are available. It may go down further with advancing pregnancy and u may need platelet transfusion at the time of delivery. It's a high risk pregnancy
