Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician. I understand your concern. Redness, watery eyes, and mild irritation are common symptoms of conjunctivitis, which can be viral or bacterial. Viral conjunctivitis is more common and often associated with a runny nose. General Advice: Use lubricating/artificial tears 4–6 times/day to relieve irritation. Apply a cold compress to the affected eye to reduce redness and discomfort. Maintain good hand hygiene and avoid rubbing the eyes; change pillowcases and towels daily. What to monitor / when to worry: Monitor for increase in pain, swelling, or discharge. Check if redness spreads to the other eye or if vision becomes blurred. Note if thick yellow/green discharge develops. Medicine (if safe to mention): If viral conjunctivitis is confirmed, antibiotics are usually not needed. Continue supportive care. Avoid unnecessary antibiotic eye drops unless prescribed by an ophthalmologist. When to consult a doctor immediately: Severe eye pain or photophobia Blurred vision Thick yellow/green pus, swelling around the eye, or rapidly worsening redness If your symptoms persist or worsen, I strongly recommend consulting an Ophthalmologist for proper evaluation and treatment. You can connect with me directly on Practo or reach me on WhatsApp at 85271646 seven seven for a more personalized consultation. Best regards, Dr. Romain Rajan General Physician

It seems like conjunctivitis. Along with the treatment you are taking , wash your eyes with warm water (boil  few pieces of cotton in water let it cool down and swab your eyes from inner to outer side don't use the same swab again after one use). This should be done 4 times in a day before you put in eye drops. Take levocerizine tablets twice a day
