Pilonidal cyst
Hi, I have pilonidal cyst since 2-3 months. Plz suggest remedies as mild blood and pus also comes + lot of discomfort while sitting n sleeping on buttocks.

Pilonidal cyst is comman in people who have long sitting jobs and can be extremely painful, few things from which you should absolutely refrain from Do not sit for long hours Buy a seat which is especially designed for this problem Get it checked by a general surgeon and if it’s too problematic get it surgically removed

Pilonidal cyst doesn’t have good optionsin medical management Best treatment is surgery You can do betadine sitz bath or apply some warm compression, but it will not be cured without surgery Best is open wound surgery.
