Picking a mattress- disc herniation
Hi, I've a history of disc prolapses, and even now I'm recovering from one. I'm using a foam mattress but it's not giving me enough support. I'm thinking of getting an orthopaedic foam mattress but I'm not sure if it's going to be suitable despite claims of sellers. Is it recommend or should I go for a coir mattress possibly which is harder?

A firm to hard mattress is the best one for your back. If it is soft, the support to your back in not much. The claims from manufacturers are difficult to prove convincingly, d9nt be misled by them.

Your mattress should neither be too hard nor too soft. Add 1 inch layer of memory foam sheet it on the top of your mattress.
