Disc herniation
I have been having pain in my left hips for the past 10 years.I came to know that I am having slipped (Herniated) disc in the lumbar region that is on L4 - L5. After showing the MRI results the doctor suggested physiotherapy like TENS and IFT. On the first day of the session itself, After taking physio, when l reached home after some time, l wasn't able to sit and walk and the next morning l was ok and l don't know the exact reason behind this. Some doctors preferred me to do Minimal invasive spine surgery (MISS) they said surgery is the only cure for this and some doctors suggest me to do NCS (Nerve conduction stimulation). After seeing the NCS report, he said that, l am having very high nerve compression and surgery is required but not now because, of the young age. Now, l am confused about to whom do l have to believe. As per the MRI, it shows the problem is in the right leg, but l am having pain and feeling some sensation when l touch my one finger in my left hip.

More doctors you see, more confusion you will have regarding difference of opinion. Stick to one skilled spine surgeon and go ahead as per his opinion.
