Physiotherapy for my knee
I met with a accident 10 years before. my knee was injured and got surgery done. got some home excercise and  I achieved half motion for my knee. after few years I had to stop it due to some financial reasons. I want to get full knee folding motion. can it still be done after a long gap?. would be happy to receive any comments.

Hi.. so with a history of knee surgery 10 years ago it is difficult to get the knee bending now. But if you can start with the knee exercises under a proper supervision could be a little helpful. Keep your knee active by doing all the exercises that you were doing earlier.

Hard to say how much of tightness is contracture unless we check the movement. However, sometimes the knee goes into rotation  and movements are restricted as a result. We could help in this regard. A proper physical assessment is needed to give you any further guidance. We are located at Physiowise, Bangalore, HRBR layout 1st block.
