Is there any Neurologist or Opthalmologist which can tell what is exactly happening with me? I am seeing persistent afterimages of objects and text from phone, tv & laptop. Even afterimages of windows, grills, plaster of paris design. Also if I see a bulb look sideways then I see the shadow of the bulb which is normal but even if I close my eyes I see those bulbs and after opening my eyes the shadow of the bulb is again there for the Blink of second and it keeps happening 4-5 mins sometimes. It started happening from the past 2 months. My Retina check ups are normal I have got my eyes checked 25 days ago twice. I have too many floaters in both eyes. I am feeling helpless because of this issue. I don't want to lose my vision. My MRI Brain is normal. I have no headache. I feel some heaviness in the brain sometimes and pain around the eyes of the socket. I am having Bilypsa for fatty liver. Reduced my weight from 125 to 107 Kg in past 4-5 months. Along with it I am having Vitreon, B12.

Your issue rather seems a neurological or visual processing issue as vour retinal examination and MRI are normal
It might be due to
1.Eye strain due to prolonged screen exposure 2.Retinal light adaptation sensitivity 3.Vitreous floaters (which are common and benign) 4.Sometimes migraine related visual phenomena even without headache
5.Anxiety or heightened visual awareness
Next Steps
Homeopathy has excellent treatment for this and this can be cured. I also need to ask certain questions related to the supplements and medication you are on, kindly consult online or connect with a homeopathic practitioner

Well,this suggests that,
You may be experiencing Palinopsia
→ This causes images/shadows to persist even after you stop looking.
Possible reasons:
Eye strain (screens, overuse)
Migraine (even without headache)
Anxiety/stress
Less likely neurological (your MRI is normal 👍)
Good signs:
Retina normal
MRI normal
→ Serious vision loss is unlikely
What to do:
Reduce screen time
Sleep properly
Avoid bright lights
Manage stress.
If you can relate with the above causes...then I advise you to try to connect with me online and i will suggest, you something more beneficial for you and you will be more satisfied then.... don't worry it's not that much difficult..it can be managed easily for sure..

Persistent afterimages, seeing shadows of objects even after looking away and floaters with a normal retina exam and normal MRI brain are not signs of vision loss or a serious neurological disease.
Your symptoms are more consistent with a functional visual disturbance, commonly related to
• Eye strain due to prolonged screen exposure
• Retinal light adaptation sensitivity
• Vitreous floaters (which are common and benign)
• Sometimes migraine related visual phenomena (even without headache)
• Anxiety or heightened visual awareness
The fact that your retina and MRI are normal is very reassuring.
What you should do
• Strictly limit continuous screen time (follow 20-20-20 rule)
• Avoid looking at bright lights/screens in dark rooms
• Use proper lighting while working
• Ensure adequate sleep
• Continue lubricating eye drops if prescribed
• Stay well hydrated
Further evaluation (if symptoms persist)
• Visual field testing
• OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography)
• Neurology review if required
Important
Floaters and afterimages can feel disturbing but are commonly harmless when investigations are normal. They often improve gradually with time and proper eye care.
Seek urgent care if you notice sudden increase in floaters, flashes of light, curtain like vision loss, or significant decrease in vision.
A detailed clinical evaluation will help guide you further.
I can completely understand how disturbing and stressful this must be for you. When vision-related symptoms persist like this, it naturally creates fear about long-term damageâbut the important reassurance in your case is that your retina examination and MRI brain are normal.
From what youâve describedâpersistent afterimages, seeing images even after closing your eyes, and brief visual imprints after blinkingâthis pattern is often seen in conditions related to visual processing sensitivity (sometimes referred to as palinopsia). These are functional disturbances, meaning they donât always show up in routine scans but can still be very real and uncomfortable.
Your history of significant weight loss, continuous screen exposure, and associated eye strain along with heaviness in the head suggests that the nervous system and visual pathways are under stress rather than there being structural damage to the eye
The floaters you are experiencing are usually due to vitreous changes and are quite common, especially with screen strain and metabolic changes. Since your retinal evaluation is normal, they are unlikely to be dangerous but can feel very bothersome.
At this stage, the focus should be on regulating the neuro-visual response, reducing strain, and addressing the root cause rather than only symptomatic relief.
In my clinical experience, such casesâwhere investigations are normal but symptoms persistârespond well to individualized homeopathic treatment, as it works on the functional disturbance of the nervous system and visual pathways.
You donât need to panic about losing your vision based on your current reports, but yes, this condition should be treated properly so it does not continue to trouble you
If you are willing, you can share more details like your sleep pattern, stress levels, food habits, and exact triggers. Based on that, a more precise and personalized treatment plan can be guided.
You are not alone in this, and there is definitely scope for improvement.

This does not sound like a primary retinal problem, especially since retinal exams and MRI are normal. The symptoms you’re describing—persistent afterimages, shadows of objects even after closing eyes, and repeated visual impressions—are more consistent with a neurological/visual processing issue rather than eye structure damage.
Most likely considerations include:
* Palinopsia – causes prolonged afterimages and visual trailing
* Visual Snow Syndrome – often associated with floaters, afterimages, light sensitivity
* Cortical hyperexcitability (visual cortex overactivity)
* Drug/supplement-related visual disturbance (less common, but should be reviewed)
The presence of:
* Normal retina exams
* Normal MRI
* Persistent afterimages (even with eyes closed)
→ strongly points toward a functional neurological visual issue, not vision loss or blindness.
Next Steps
I would recommend a detailed consultation to understand your complete symptoms and start individualized treatment.
Sometimes there is no pathology involved ,reports are normal but areas of brain which controle vision is disturbed due to chemicals imbalance .Nothing can measure it ,also called delusions.
Homeopathy works best in these cases and has no side effects.
