There are two main hormones which responsible for womb innerlining growth and maintenance.. for first half cycle its estrogen hormone which is mainly responsible for growth and increase in no. Of cells.. second hormone come in action once ovulation occur .. and due withdrawal of that hormone( if pregnancy not occur) lead to bleeding. So, this medication which is given is similar to that after ovulation hormone  . After stopping we will have to give some time to body for sensing of withdrawal effect.. so, give some time it can be according to how much your inner line was prepared by estrogen hormone..

Wait for 10 days since stopping of meprate. If still no menses, get UPT done. If positive consult obstetrician if negative get a USG  done to see for endometrial thickness. If its less than or equal to 6-7 mm ,then u will require combination of estrogen plus progesterone to get menses. And if its more u wait for 1 more week and then repeat UPT if still no menses.
