Pcos guidance
Hello doctor, My recent ultrasound shows mild polycystic ovaries. Both ovaries are bulky with 13–14 small follicles each, and there’s a 1.8 cm turbid follicle in the left ovary. My uterus and other organs are normal. My doctor has prescribed Rabecia 20 (morning empty stomach), Fenubig after lunch for 3 months, Aroraft after meals, Calcium , Vitamin D weekly, and Rexol gel for back pain. I just want to understand if these medicines are safe for long-term use and if I should also start taking inositol supplements or wait. Can PCOS improve or reverse with these medicines and lifestyle changes? Thank you.

Please get your Complete Health Check up package done from a reputed Laboratory . The package should include HbA1C, TSH, Vit B 12 and D 3 (in addition to other parameters). It should be costing about ₹1200- 1500. You may seek a proper consultation with me on Practo with the reports. You should also get a repeat sonography done after your next period.
