PCOD Pcod.
Hello doctors, So I have a condition known as pcod. I was diagnosed with Pcod at 19 but I showed the symptoms since I started my period but no gynecologist was able to figure it out they just give me medicine after medicine for my periods to come. I did consult another doctor and she let to change my lifestyle. My weight is currently 58 kg and my height is 5 feet. And still have to take medicine for my period too come or else won't take the medicine I won't get any period that following month which always result in me getting hormonal acne bcz of it. So kindly help on what to do

U need to reduce weight and maintain a healthy BMI. It cannot be treated fully only it can be controlled. Taking medicines to get periods is not bad if not getting spontaneous menses. Connect for prescription for medicines to better control your symptoms and irregular periods. These medications will cure the hormonal imbalance caused due to PCOS, it's not period inducing drug

The only treatment of pcod is to exercise n maintain a healthy bmi Till then u can be helped with hormones to make ur cycles regular That will take care of the acne as well
