Paratha as diet
My mother 81 years age has an heart attack two years ago. Since then she is on statin medications. She is having rheumatoid arthritis and dyspepsia. I have kept her on strict diet of saffola gold with rotis besides almond, walnut, beet root, two dates, coconut water daily. Now a days sprouted moong boiled and small fry. Kismiss soaked in water. She is having normal food with no outside eatables. No sweats. Occasional sooji halwa made at home. First is it ok. Second she craves for paratha. Not giving her paratha. Just once in 15 days. Can I add paratha cooked in Saffola gold. How safe is it. She regularly asks for it. But i have made it no no. Your advice is required regarding safety level frequency od parathas for her

Missi roti or green veg stuff paratha also she can take for a change and in nutrition point of view. The sprouts you are giving her should not be fried for any kind like toss fry, pan fry, shallow fry. It should only be soaked overnight and boiled.

You can give her parantha made with Desi ghee. Use multigrain or millet flour and use Desi ghee in cooking instead of any refined oils like safola gold. There is a myth ghee increase cardiac problem or cholesterol. Only 20% cholesterol body received from food rest 80% made by liver.
Next Steps
She is cardiac patient immediately avoid giving any kind of refined oils for better health health. Give her 2-3 spoon Desi ghee or MCT oil. Do not use MCT oil for cooking use for dressing in sabzi, soup or salad.

I agree one paratha in a week, but if you give fruits and sprouts in her breakfast and Prelunch so ypu can give paratha in lunch or dinner . But stop using too refined oil use other seed base oil and more desi cow ghee not branded one.ask her to walk and do breathing exercises then she can eat paratha. Food which don't give satatiy then it will not give nutrition tooo.
