Pap smear test and HPV vaccine
Is it necessary to get a Pap smear test done before getting the HPV vaccine? I'm planning to get Gardasil 4.

Papsmear is definitely not necessary before getting the HPV vaccine you should definitely go ahead with the vaccination  irrespective of your age vaccination is advisable up to 42 years of age

Pap smear and hpv vaccination are separate entities . U need to get Pap smear even after hpv vaccination. It is not mandatory to take a Pap test before vaccination

You age is 35 years. Hpv vaccination can be given at for this age group on if you have history of cervical cancer in your family. Yes you need to get pap smear done before the vaccination
