Hello doctor, I have been suffering from bloating and gas for many years. I have taken many medicines but it is not getting cured. Yesterday I got an endoscopy done and this is the report and H. PYLARI bacteria has been found. So the doctor has given me a 14 day kit. Does the stomach feel bloated for a few days after the endoscopy?

Some bloating after endoscopy is common due to the air used during the procedure and usually settles in 2 days.
Since your report shows H. pylori, the 14 day treatment is very important complete it properly as it will help with long term symptoms.
If bloating persists or symptoms don’t improve, we may need to review your treatment and diet in detail.
Please book a consultation so I can guide you step by step.
It is very common to feel bloated for 24–48 hours after an endoscopy. During the procedure, the gastroenterologist pumps air into your stomach to get a clear view of the lining; some of this gas remains trapped, causing temporary discomfort. More importantly, since H. pylori has been confirmed, starting the 14-day eradication kit is the right step. This bacteria is the root cause of your long-term bloating, and the kit (Triple Therapy) is specifically designed to kill the infection and allow your stomach lining to heal permanently."
Next Steps
Endoscopy Bloating: The 'fullness' you feel today is just residual air. Walking around and taking light meals will help the gas pass naturally.
The 14-Day Kit: This is a powerful combination of two antibiotics and one acid-blocker (PPI). It is crucial to complete the full 14 days even if you start feeling 100% better by Day 5. Stopping early can lead to antibiotic resistance.
Side Effects: Don't worry if you experience a slightly bitter taste in your mouth or mild changes in bowel habits during the course; these are normal reactions to the H. pylori medication.
Health Tips
Timely Doses: Take your medications exactly as prescribed, usually before meals for the acid-blocker and after meals for the antibiotics.
Probiotics: I recommend adding a good probiotic supplement during this 14-day course to maintain your gut health and reduce the side effects of antibiotics.
Follow-up: Once the 14-day course is finished, wait for 4 weeks and then get a Urea Breath Test (UBT) to confirm that the bacteria have been completely eradicated.

Haan, endoscopy ke baad 1–2 din tak thoda bloating/gas feel hona bilkul common hai—procedure me air insufflation hoti hai isliye pet phoola hua lag sakta hai. Usually 24–48 hours me settle ho jata hai.
Aapke report me erosive pangastritis + H. pylori aaya hai, to doctor ne jo 14-day kit di hai wo main treatment hai—usko properly complete karna sabse important hai. Is duration me bhi thoda bloating, metallic taste, loose motion ya gas ho sakta hai—ye antibiotics ki wajah se normal side effects hote hain.
Abhi kya dhyaan rakho:
• Kit bilkul miss na karo (strict timing)
• Khana light rakho (khichdi, dal, dahi, banana), spicy/oily avoid
• Cold drinks, alcohol, smoking avoid
• Probiotic add kar sakte ho (antibiotic side effects kam honge)
• Gas ke liye simethicone le sakte ho
Agar endoscopy ke baad:
• Severe pain, persistent vomiting, black stool ya fever aaye → turant doctor ko dikhao
Otherwise jo bloating feel ho raha hai wo temporary hai. Real improvement usually treatment complete hone ke 2–3 weeks baad dikhta hai
