May be due to gastritis
Health Tips
1. Dietary Changes:          - Avoid trigger foods like spicy, acidic,    or fatty foods, as they can worsen symptoms.       - Eat smaller, more frequent meals rather than large ones to reduce pressure on the stomach.        - Finish meals at least 2-3 hours before lying down or going to bed. 2. Lifestyle Adjustments:       - Elevate the head of your bed by 6-8 inches to prevent stomach acid from flowing back into the esophagus while sleeping.       - Maintain a healthy weight, as excess weight can contribute to GERD symptoms.      - Avoid tight-fitting clothing that can put pressure on the abdomen. 3. Meal Timing:       - Avoid eating close to bedtime.       - Wait a couple of hours after eating before engaging in strenuous activities or exercising. 4. Avoid Smoking and Alcohol:       - Both smoking and alcohol can weaken the lower esophageal sphincter and increase the risk of acid reflux. 5. Medications:      - Follow your healthcare provider's recommendations for any prescribed medications, such as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) or H2 blockers. 6. Stress Management:      - Stress can exacerbate GERD symptoms. Engage in relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation, or yoga. 7. Hydration:      - Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Staying hydrated can help maintain a healthy digestive system. 8. Chewing Gum:      - Chewing sugar-free gum after meals can help increase saliva production, which can neutralize stomach acid. 9. Avoid Bending Over:       - Bending over or stooping immediately after meals can increase the risk of acid reflux. Instead, try to maintain an upright posture. 10. Consult Your Doctor:       - If you experience severe or persistent symptoms despite making lifestyle changes, consult your healthcare provider. They can provide personalized advice and recommend further tests or treatment options. Test: 24hours pH monitoring, GI endoscopy
