Pain in the ribs
When I touch the rib I feel a mild pain which subsides after a few minutes but it happens always when I try touching (with a mild pressure) the LEFT side ribs. Otherwise there isn't any problem in any sort of movement or anything. Also, I lost my mother to Breast Cancer so I'm really worried. Please suggest something. Thank You!

Hi. Sorry to hear about your mother. As history of breast cancer in family present always good to examine and detect early. Get regular check from gynaecology doctor as adviced. But breast cancer may  not cause rib pain . So be at ease . It can be more of muscular and soft tissue pain (costochondritis) Apply hot fomentation on that area avoid burns  . Apply for 20 min . Physiotherapy - streching and strengthning  excercise for chest and upper back muscle. (basic excercise no weight lifiting ) And will suggest you to get your self examined to rule out any other medical prblms by doing chest xray and blood test For this consult physician 👆
