Pain in temporary filling before crown
2 days back , my front teeth which i already had RCT was to be crowned and the doctor did all the process and he did the Temporary Filling. Now, the gums of this tooth is a little dark than before and bloating a little and it hurts when i touch it (but its bearable its just uncomfortable). Will i go see my doctor again or they will call me again after 1 week to put the  crown so will i just wait?

By temporary filling, I am assuming he made temporary crowns for the front teeth.. If that's the case, then the swelling of the gums must be due to procedure done as well as the irritation from the margins of the temporary crowns or some excess cement which was used to fix the temporary crowns.. This will subside within a couple of days.. Till then you can apply Dologel CT to the swollen gums to aid in healing..
Next Steps
Visit your dentist one week later, as scheduled.. If he has not scheduled you for the final crowns, then call him up and ask him about the same..
Health Tips
Brush lightly in the swollen gum area.. Apply Dologel CT twice a day for 4 days.. Do salt water rinses twice a day for few days..

Dear practo user Please apply hexigel over the area for healing You can do some warm salt water gargling also. It will eventually heal, and you can go to your dentist for crown fixation. Discuss this when you visit for the crown
