Pain in shoulder and hand
I have been experiencing pain in my left shoulder and hand since few months. The pain is mainly triggered in cold atmosphere or when in ACs. It sometimes lasts for few minutes to few hours. The exact point of pain is not fixed. It occurs sometimes in shoulder, sometime in upper arm or may extend to lower arm. The pain is of thumbing type. What might be the problem? What should I do? Is the problem in bones or nerves or muscles? What kind of doctor should I consult?

Most likely your problem is related to nerve. See a orthopedic physio therapist in your area first. Your posture and few other tests need to be done to find out exact cause.
Next Steps
See PT soon, if problem persists then see a neurologist.
Health Tips
Take measures to reduce stress, relaxation techniques etc.

Muscular imbalance, muscle tightness and nerve entrapment could be the cause of pain. Exposer to cold temperatures can worsen the muscle tightness and further compress the nerves. Consult a PT for evaluation and treatment for pain relief. At home apply hot pack over your neck and shoulder area, do some light neck stretches and active movements. Reduce screen time and raise your computer screen up to your eye level, keep your both elbows supported on table or over chair armrest.
Next Steps
Consult a PT.
