Learn correct postures from physiotherapist. Most of the pains are due to biomechanical cause. So treat it mechanically or chemically.
Next Steps
if pain persist go for further investigation.

Hi.. There could be someother irritation left in the neck that could trigger mild muscle stiffness leading to such pain and weakness. Need to evaluate your issue to see if there is any restriction in range and less mobility in the joints of neck and shoulder. Nothing to worry.. As of now keep icing your shoulder and neck.. This should help you to fix your problem for now.. Once pain comes down follow it up with mild exercises.. Mobility exercises
