Hello Dr. I've been experiencing pain in my rectum since yesterday while I sit walk or poo. I was constipated yesterday. No blood in stool today. But there's pinching pain. Is it anything serious?

If you are constipated usually, then the hardness of retained stools, at least the terminal volume becomes hard and its friction with rectal wall causes abrasive effect cracking the mucosal surface. Later on the crack may enlarge and get deeper to become a Fissure. This produces Pain while passing stools, sitting, peeing etc. Take care of your bowel habits, have rich fibre diet, plenty of fluids avoid oily foods. If despite this the problem continues, get yourself physically examined by a qualified Proctologist surgeon.
