Pain in neck.
I am having pain in my neck on left side since last 2 weeks. At first I thought it was due to sleeping with hard pillow. But last week I changed to a softer pillow. Still the pain is there. What should I do?

Neck pain is common in people who sit in upright positions for longer hours. In this case your neck muscles need to work continuously because of which they get strained and you ultimately land up into Neck pain. Most of people have problem in their postures that is also one of the reason of neck pain. To get rid of this first thing is to relax your muscles with ice pack. After this you should do with some of the stretching exercises for neck. Then you should start with strengthening exercises once you get flexibility in your muscles. You should also pay attention towards postural corrections and sleeping postures (pillow shouldn't be too high or too low, it should keep your neck in neutral position). Make sure you apply ice pack after Exercises to avoid soreness. Consult your physiotherapist for more information...
