Pain in my right shoulder
I have this pain in my right shoulder after lying down and using mobile while lying down. It was present b1 week back then went away as i avoided pillow. Again started. What to do? Any exercise to keep my neck fit? Is it spondyloarthritis?

Take a 1L bottle, bend forward and rotate the arm that is painful in circular motion leaving the arm completely loose. This will help tone down the pain. For further help please consult online

This seems to be misalignment of trigger points. Avoid pressure on the affected shoulder. Do not use mobile while lying down, Consult in person with physiotherapist for electro therapy treatment. Through electrotherapy it can be reduced and later with exercises the muscles of neck and shoulder will be strengthen.

We can not decide the spondylitis or arthritis without examination. but you have to take care of both shoulder as well as neck region simply you can follow these instructions; 👉 avoid use of cell phone during lying 👉do icing at your neck and shoulder region 👉avoid pressing your hand below your head during  sleep 👉use thin or cervical pillow/ or you can use small sheet under your neck 👉don't give too much of your time to screen for few days 👉start gentle isometric exercises of neck when you feel 50% improvement in your pain 👉avoid heavy weight lifting and heavy push pull activity 👉plan your exercise regime with under guidance of qualified physiotherapist 👉Do not attempt self stretches it can harm your cervical spine 👉Start exercises systematically this advice is not valid for medico legal purposes Dr Deepesh nainani PT jaipur India

You should first be checked by X ray analysis.and I f pain persist fortst of all your pain should be diminished by ice therapy and then l if pain subsides, you should start exercise according to your clinical condition.
