hi... it looks of a muscular strain or maybe ligament instability.Would require a detailed history of your symptoms to help you out further
Next Steps
Kindly visit a physio
Health Tips
can apply ice, gentler stretching and strengthening exercises, also can splint the wrist with a wrist band or crepe bandage for stability while carrying out the daily activities
Have you had any previous injuries to your wrist? That may give an idea where the problem is. If you have these issues for the last 5 months please see an Orthopaedic Surgeon to get an x-ray done. They may need to do a stress x-ray of the wrist to diagnose it. There are certain wrist joint ligaments which provide stability to the wrist, those ligaments may be affected.
Next Steps
Consult an Orthopaedic or Hand Surgeon for further evaluation.
Hello there,,,,,well yes repeated use of wrist joint may cause strain at the joint,,,however any pain should not be ignored,,,,do you get pain only on lifting somethig or on preassure or is it there even at rest....
What is your occoupation?
It becomes necessary to give rest to the joint if it hurts,,,,repeated straining may exaggerate the condition.
may be you are having excess of wrist activities making it susceptible to injuries plz give adequate rest use hot fomentation for instant relief and later practice strengthening...
Kindly visit a nearby physiotherapist and get your wrist assessment done.. and follow treatment for atleast 2 weeks regularly! Bracing may or maynot be required..
