I run around 3-5 km daily, but within 10 days of starting my routine I use to get pain in my outer lateral side of the leg which is around knee area.lf I take rest for some days the pain will vanish but it will start paining again if I start running. I had fall on that leg sideways in Dec 2014

it is due to strain in illotibial band and dorsiflexors of ankle, it happens due contracture of those structures, get it stretch by physiotherapy daily
