Knee pain after running
Hello Doctor, I recently started Gym & running. My age 26 Yrs, Height 5"7' & weight is 65 KG. If i run more than about 1.5 KM, my knees strats paining. I read on internet that it's called runners knee problem and patellar support strap was recommended there. I am now using that and it reduced pain significantly. I far as walking is concerned i have no problem in that and i usually walk 7-8 KM daily without any issue. I want to know if it is normal ? I want to increase my running distance gradually. Should i do that or i should no run much? Is there any better solution than patellar support strap? Is it something to do with the strength of bones? Sould I take some suppliments like ostocalcium, protein supplement or anything else?
