Hello dear, Hope you and your lived ones are safe! Identifying problem is most important. We need to first evaluate the reason behind pain. Had the said tooth experienced any injury or trauma or infected? Or does your teeth have calculus attached, which is very common on outer surface of upper teeth? Or is it tooth fracture? Or is it a simple Gum Injury while Tooth Brushing? Let's evaluate that first ..
Next Steps
You can consult us in person or on call to understand the reason of your problem. You can also share us the photo of your teeth in concern. Solution goes simple way, In case of Tooth Infection - treat the tooth accordingly In case of Trauma or Injury - Preferably Root canal or filling to bendone depending upon the damage incurred and its closeness to the nerve of that tooth In case of Tooth Fracture - removal of mobile or broken part and preserving the remainder of the tooth In case of Calculus surrounding Tooth - Teeth cleaning is the solution Avoid eating hot, spicy, hard and sticky food till issue is resolved. Eat warm and soft food.
Health Tips
Merely using Gum Paint may not sort the issue as identifying the reason of problem is priority. Hope it helped! Take care! Stay safe!

First the cause of pain needs to be evaluated. If pain is localized yo one tooth then there can be trauma, infection or decay with that tooth. Apply gel to the painful area. Visit dentist for clinical examination.
