Pain in front of the ankle

I am having pain in front of the left ankle. The pain has started when I was doing Morning walk. I am not sure, but there seems to be a swelling in front of the ankle as well

Pain of short duration with swelling usually following a strain / injury. If associated with fever it may be due to infection of joint called infective arthritis. If only swelling & pain then it may be due to arthritis. It's better to consult a pain specialist / orthopedician
