Pain in arch of foot
I’m a dancer at vocational college in London. A few days ago we did a class in character shoes ( a shoe with a heel that’s 2.5), after the class the part of my foot where you’d get a bunion ( under the big toe joint) felt sore so I massaged it to try and release tension. The next day I felt pain in the arch of my foot and it hurts when I walk or run, it’s okay in the mornings but once I’ve put a lot of weight on it after a full day of dance, I get pain. It just fluctuated.

This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. • Point your toes • Raise your heels • Squeeze your toes
