Pain after RCT (Crown not yet placed)
Sir/Ma'am. My RCT treatment was done with Permanent Filling in one sitting. (It took nearly about 40-60 minutes). Pain killer medicine was advised to take only if pain occurs. My next appointment or sitting is tommorow (after 5 days of my RCT treatment) may be for taking size for crown fitting Normally i do not feel any pain after my RCT treatment. However, 1) a bit of pain when accidentaly i bites food particles with RCT tooth 2) Feeling a bit of pressure / pain on touching though toungue smoothly over RCT Tooth 3) While smiling, feeling of slight pressure over RCT tooth Is is sign of worry ? Are my Infection completely healed ? Should i go for Crown placement even if there is feeling of pain as above? Please advise me ma'am please as i have seen / read many about RCT..Re RCT...its success ..its failures...many more. It is haunting me Regards

In some cases, pain after RCT maybe there even be up to 8 to 10 days but it must be gradually reducing. If the intensity of the pain increases afterward then something is wrong.

Generally after doing single sitting rct some time it's cost pain, I advised you wait for some days and do take your medicine  crown should be placed only after pain goes, don't put it on under pain, some time there mit be some infection which cause pain,
Next Steps
please do consult your dentist regarding this, or you can consult me if you want.
Health Tips
have a light food don't press much on it, but brushing has to be done don't leave it in fear of pain

Slight pain discomfort post rct is normal. Don't bite from that side, and get the crown fixed once the tenderness is completely gone

Since you are still having pain on touching or feeling pressure it is better to wait for few more days before placing the crown and let the symptoms subside.... there is nothing much to worry..slight pain and uncomfortness usually occurs after single sitting RCT as the body takes time to heal the periapical infection if present before the treatment so any pressure on the tooth can cause some pain...
Next Steps
consult your dentist and let him know about the pain

Hi,     Having a bit of pain for few days after RC filling is normal. Even more in case of single visit RCT. But as you mentioned that you are having pain even after 4 days of RC filling, it is better to inform your dentist about this before placement of crown. May be you have to wait for few more days before placement of crown till the pain subsides.
Next Steps
Inform your dentist about the pain.
