The duration of pain varies from patient to patient, also depends upon the type of surgery and post surgery treatment. Clinical union at fracture site takes about 4-6 weeks- this also varies among different patients. Minor movements while sleeping do not affect the fracture fixation. Your treating surgeon would be the best person to answer all these questions, and manage your issues depending on your feedback. Consult your treating surgeon to check the progress of your recovery.

Bone unites in 6 weeks You can monitor progress by doing X Ray at 3 weeks and 6 weeks Swelling will gradually reduce. And so will pain. Probably 3-6 weeks. Some movements randomly occurring are common. Don’t worry. You will do well.
