I understand your concern. Oral Submucous Fibrosis (OSMF) is a condition that requires careful management and monitoring. The yellow bony growth on your upper palate should definitely be evaluated by a medical professional, especially if it is causing you discomfort or concerns. Consult with a Specialist: Since you're already under medical care for OSMF, it's important to discuss this growth with a specialist. If your current doctor didn't address it, consider seeking a second opinion from another oral medicine specialist, oral surgeon, or an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist. Further Examination: A proper diagnosis requires a thorough examination, which may include physical assessment, imaging studies (like X-rays), and possibly a biopsy. A biopsy is a common procedure to determine the nature of the growth and rule out any serious concerns. Treatment Recommendations: Depending on the nature of the growth and your overall condition, treatment recommendations can vary. It might be managed conservatively if it's deemed benign, or surgical removal might be recommended if necessary. Your doctor will guide you based on their assessment. Regular Follow-ups: It's important to continue your regular follow-up appointments with your healthcare provider to monitor the progression of OSMF and any other changes in your oral health. Voice Your Concerns: Don't hesitate to express your concerns to your healthcare provider. They should address your questions and ensure that you have a clear understanding of your condition and its management. Remember that your healthcare provider is the best person to evaluate and guide you regarding your specific condition. If you're unsure or uncomfortable with the information you've received, seeking a second opinion is a valid option. Your health and peace of mind are important.

If the projection hasn't changed in 6-7 months its less likely to be fatal or cancerous and less likely to disappear on its own. However, you must get yourself examined by a well qualified oral surgeon in your area. Your mouth opening is close to two finger breadth. You need to continue your treatment and discuss with your dentist inclusion of intra-leisonal injections in mouth along with the medicines that you have mentioned.

Hi, I suggest you meet your dentist again and get a clinical evaluation. A biopsy of the bony growth can be done to rule out any pathology.
