(Please check the pictures attached, one of the pictures is for the first question and the other one is for the 2nd question.)
The middle part of my tongue is slightly whitish or a little brownish or maybe yellowish, it is certainly different than the colour of the rest of it.
I was wondering whether it is candida.
I don't have any pain, any lesions nor do i have any loss of the sense of taste.
I brush twice a day, scrape my tongue twice a day, floss a day. So i think oral hygiene is probably not the thing.
What do you think?
And when you look at the other picture, what are those small spots near the front part of the tongue.

As you have mentioned that you don't have any pain, lesions, or loss of taste, it's less likely to be a serious issue. However, it's always best to have it examined by a professional to rule out any underlying concerns.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and get a thorough examination done .
It's difficult to diagnose a medical condition without a proper examination, so I would recommend consulting a healthcare professional or a dentist for an accurate diagnosis.
Regarding the discoloration on the middle part of your tongue, it's possible that it could be due to a variety of factors. While Candida (a type of yeast) can cause oral thrush, which typically presents as creamy white patches on the tongue, it's not the only possible cause. Other factors that can lead to tongue discoloration include certain foods or beverages, tobacco use, medication side effects, dehydration, and even certain medical conditions.

As for the small spots near the front part of your tongue, these can be normal and may be caused by taste buds or minor irritation. If they are not causing any discomfort or rapidly changing in appearance, they are generally nothing to be concerned about. However, if you have any doubts or if they persist or worsen, it's advisable to have them evaluated by a healthcare professional.
You don't have oral candidiasis (as per picture).
As you have no symptoms, so nothing to worry.
Visit a local dentist for physical evaluation and treatment (if required).
Its not oral thrush or candida. the appearance in candida would be curdy white and most times it is scrapable. As such I feel there is no problem with your tongue. The yellowish part is just some staining may be by the food items. Usually, the back portions of your tongue are not cleaned due to accessibility. The tiny red spots are fungiform papilla over your tongue which is normal entity. Chill! You have nothing bothersome. There are only teeth impressions on your lateral border of tongue which again is normal due to size of your tongue.
Next Steps
If you have any burning sensation/pain etc in your tongue, please seek an expert consultation by visiting a good dentist.
