A retention cyst will have to be excised either through surgery or lasers, depending upon what you choose based on cost factor. With lasers healing is faster and the procedure is stitch-less. Antibiotics will not resolve it but only take care of a secondary infection if present.

The best way to get the mucocele removed is by laser surgery..there will be no scalpel involved, no pain no bleeding too. Post operative healing will be quick and uneventful.  No question of any stitches too. There is no possibility of getting any sort of scar.

The cyst can be removed by a small surgical procedure. INormally antibiotics are not required. Yes, resorbable stitches are put which dissolve by around 10 days. There should be no permanent scar.
