Mucous cyst
I got mucous cyst inside my lower lip. It has been a month When I squeeze it there is a liquid coming out of it, but it swelling back again. What can be reason ? How can i diagnose?

The exact diagnosis can be established after a proper clinical evaluation by an oral pathologist. If it is a mucous retention cyst, the only treatment with permanent relief of symptoms is surgical removal of this entity. To put it in simple words, it is a balloon like cyst below the skin surface and it will increase and decrease in size but will not be permanently cured unless it is removed in its entirety. It is not a major procedure and is done under local anaesthesia and any experienced oral surgeon can do that. Regards
