Oral lichen planus
I am male 32 years of age. I am having lesions in mouth since sep'16 and visited a dermetologist in nov'16. He diagnosed it as oral lichen planus with oral corticosteroid called omnacortil and picon cream to be applied on lesion for some time. Now its been almost one and half years, i still have lesions in the inner cheeks of mouth and now it is spreading on gums too. I am very worry. Is this life threatening or may turn into cancer? What is the way ahead?

Oral lichen planes can be managed by topical treatment only. You can apply kenacort gel twice daily. Get oral prophylaxis done by a dentist which really helps. are you on some antioxidants?
