Open Fracture Increased Pain
Open fracture on foot with 7 breaks. I was told it would be very painful if not elevated. But i never had a problem with pain before leaving hospital. Since getting home even when going to the toilet pain is excruciating and it feels tight when not elevated. They did say this would happen but it never happened before leaving hospital? Cast is loose

If u have 7 fracture I feel it's better not to hang the leg down ...ur swelling of foot reduces as the time passes so the cast LL become loose after couple of days ..u need to give it time to heal
