I have an open bite (my upper and lower teeth do not align). I am 22 years old. I want to correct my teeth but my dentist refused braces because I have 50% bone loss. Is it still possible to correct my teeth. Also, I want to do it as soon as possible and for less cost. I have been using metrogyl DG gel for my gums regularly.

Hello mam,
If you have bone loss then what is the cause of the bone loss if it is due to periodontitis then you have to improve your oral hygiene first.
You can get a full mouth x ray to check for bone loss.
If there is major bone loss then orthodontic treatment is not adviced with out correcting the cause.
Next Steps
consult a dentist.

Hi....To know if orthodontic treatment is possible or not an x ray is required that will show the condition of your bone which is known as OPG. Get it done and upload it here or you can visit your nearby orthodontist.Cost will depend on the difficulty level of your case, type of braces and expertise of the doctor.
Hello mam,
We need to check with your OPG x-ray, upload in practo app itself... After seeing the x-ray we can let u know what can be done, whether the braces can be given or not..
