The first thing to do is to get a dental checkup. Most times bad breath is because of beginning gum disease. A nice dental cleaning should start solving your problem. Sometimes there might be a decay in a tooth which causes food traps and bad breath. Rarely, the cause might not be due to teeth - like a blocked nose etc, but a dental opinion will help you a lot. Also, start tongue cleaning thoroughly with a soft toothbrush. Drink lots of water. Chew sugarfree gum. Mouthwashes will just mask the smell and make your mouth dry, they won't cause the problem to go away.

There are multiple reasons for bad breath, the most common one being deposits of calculus on the teeth.... you will be requiring a session of teeth cleaning followed by a proper guidance from the dentist about brushing technique suiting to your requirements..... any other causes of bad breath can also be ruled out during the check up..... also make sure to use your tooth brush to clean your tongue daily every time when you brush your teeth.... Regards....

Halitosis(bad breath) can be an important social problem in which the standard dental treatments and mouthwashes that are often recommended provide only temporary relief. Oral malodor is primarily the result of microbial metabolism. The mouth is home to hundreds of bacterial species with various nutritional preferences. These organisms digest proteins, and several fetid substances arise, leading to bad breath. Oral malodor from the overgrowth of proteolytic, anaerobic gram-negative bacteria on the crevices of the tongue dorsum can be successfully diagnosed and treated. To reduce bad breath, help avoid cavities and lower your risk of gum disease, consistently practice good oral hygiene. Further treatment for bad breath can vary, depending on the cause. If your bad breath is thought to be caused by an underlying health condition,as we can't prescribe medication online as per law consult dentist or physician they will help you
