I have been ill with OCD thoughts since 2018, later I consulted and took medication "podex 40mg"
Since then, I was doing well.
But once in a time period I again get OCD thoughts and get panic attacks due to thoughts.
Can I still continue the medication.?
Or can you consult any medication to use.?
Thank you

Talk to experienced psychiatrist online and get your health questions answered in just 5 minutes.
Fouxetine 40mg is recommended medication for OCD symptoms. But is always better to consult a doctor rather self medicating and for exploring psychological reasons for relapse of symptoms. Medication along with counselling has always shown best results.
Also before starting any psychotropic medication it recommended to get few things measured like blood test, weight etc.
And benefits of consultation would be that you could discuss your side effects , when and how to stop the medication etc ..
