OCD and some mental health problems
Well, from childhood I was a curious child, but slowly slowly, that changed as I grew up that curiosity changed into overthinking, right now I'm suffering from Rabies OCD, I have extreme fear of this disease since 9th grade when I first learn about it, in 2023 I had a overthinking week when my dog licked my bottle and i touched it I spent the whole week thinking about it but it got better on its on, but now again im having the same OCD, I did not have a contact with a animal its just that a monkey broke a flower garland outside of my home, and im thinking what if that monkey was rabid and it left its saliva on the flower, but slowly this changed into more severe, now I'm always thinking what if I go outside and touch some place where there is animal saliva, it's getting worse, also i have a handwashing OCD and now they both got mixed and now I'm washing my hand very much because of this, kindly please help, well my condition I guess is a outcome of a long overthinking from childhood

I think first of all clearing some facts about Rabies and how it spreads will greatly reduce your anxiety about it. Your skin is an effective protective barrier against microorganisms and infections. You’re struggling with OCD from a young age. Given your age and intensity of symptoms, getting proper treatment for OCD will be very helpful for you. Please seek professional help and medication from a Psychiatrist

You are experiencing a very disturbing situation at the moment. It is highly recommended for you to consult once because the symptoms you are describing are not something which would resolve with therapy alone.
