Obsessive compulsive disorder
I have a severe obsessive dissorder ..I had since long time ..but now I have a spiritual obsessive disorder..am not able to manage the situation..I have a tendency to abuse god in my mind ..but at the same time ..I pray 100 times a time and ask forgiveness for my thoughts..I never had social interaction during past 1 month ..since I was completely into my studies ..I knew that I have ocd from long time ..I have compulsion for time ,my studies,prayer , arrangement of things,cleanliness ..this compulsion always helped me to be good in academics..but right now am facing a difficult situation regarding my feelings for god ..which am not able to take ..I often feel like punishing myself for my thoughts

Hi First of all realize whatever thoughts you are having or actiona you are doing is because of OCD. You are not OCD YOU HAVE OCD and these thoughts thoughts are result of disorder which is treatable of course. Treatment involves medication and therapy. Both together work wonders. You need to see a psychologist before things go beyond hand. Dont claim any disease and label yourself . Let the psychologist do the diagnosis.

Repetitive tasks, intrusive and repetitive thoughts, checking, counting, disproportionate excess need for order and cleanliness, as well as anxiety when not able to do the same are signs of obsessive compulsive disorder. Patients with OCD suffer from significant distress, anxiety and depression due to the same which impairs their quality of life. Please consult a Psychiatrist at the earliest. With a combination of medication and behavioural therapy it is likely that your symptoms will improve.

This blasphemous thought are part of OCD. Start treatment: Cap Prodep 40mg once daily. Tab Zapiz 0.5 mg at night. Review after 20 days.

OCD is treatable. The new symptom which you have developed of abusing god in mind- these are blasphemous thoughts. If you are not on medications, please visit a psychiatrist.
