Hi my concern is that my 4 month old does not sleep for more than 30 minutes at a stretch and usually wakes up chewing his hand. He has around 6 wet lowers in a day. I want to know am I keeping him underfed and should I give him formula during the day. I give him one bottle at night

Chewing of hand is normal at this age. No need to give formula. Disturbed sleep may be due to stomach upset. Give colicaid drops 5 drops thrice a day for 2 days and Econorm sachet 1 sachet per day (probiotic ) for 1 week and observe. Contact again if needed

Chewing is hand is usually some form of hummer.
Make sure you are feeding the child for at least 20 mins and practicing burping afterward.
6 wet nappies is a decent amount. The more you feed the more naps.
Feed in demand and it every 2-3 hours.
