If the weight is ok and also noting the other things you have said, there is nothing to worry about. They can sleep a lot. But get a physical check up done once by a pediy
If your baby is feeding well, passing adequate urine and stools, gaining adequate weight nothing to worry. Babies sleep a lot and they only get up to feed.
It is normal for a 10 week old child to sleep this much. As long as the child is feeding well, passing urine 6-7 times a day, no icterus , no irritability or lethargy which you have already mentioned , nothing to worry.
Greetings
It's common for a 10-week-old to experience "sleepy" phases, which are often consistent with growth spurts or developmental leaps. If your baby is feeding well and having regular wet diapers, those are excellent signs of health and hydration. However, extreme lethargy or a sudden inability to stay awake can also resemble symptoms of a mild viral infection or anemia. Because it is difficult to determine the cause without a physical exam, you should contact your pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues.
At this age many babies sleep for long hours, especially after feeding, and some babies naturally have fewer wake windows during certain growth phases. If she is feeding adequately, passing urine normally, gaining weight, crying normally when hungry, and waking for feeds, it is usually reassuring.
Next Steps
Try to observe:
• whether she can be aroused for feeds
• active movements when awake
• normal urine output (6+ wet diapers/day)
• no fever, breathing difficulty, bluish discoloration, vomiting, poor suck, or excessive limpness
Health Tips
However, if she becomes difficult to wake, feeds poorly, has reduced urine output, weak cry, fever, breathing issues, persistent lethargy, or you feel she is ‘not acting normal,’ she should be examined by a pediatrician soon.
That's totally normal. They sleep for atleast 18hrs in a day.
Infact after giving your kid is sleeping means whatever the feed your giving that is enough and tummy full.
So kid is alright nothing to worry 😊
